Frequently Asked Questions
Many patients are fearful of the process at first, but we assure you, it’s quick and relatively painless! You may stay awake during the procedure or opt to be put under general anesthesia, whichever is most comfortable for you. Your doctor will surgically insert a dental implant into your jawbone. Implants are inserted to support a full arch of teeth. Then your temporary teeth are then attached to the implants.
You’ll leave the day of your surgery with a set of temporary teeth that look natural. Once the tissue has healed and the implants integrated with your natural bone, we’ll replace your temporary teeth with a permanent bridge that looks, feels, and functions just like real teeth! This final appointment takes less than an hour and does not require surgery. At this point, you’ll be able to eat anything you’d like!
A single tooth implant can be placed in less than 30 minutes and multiple tooth implants can take up to an hour. A full jaw, also known as an All-on-4, could take 2-3 hours. We’ll cover all of the details with you prior to your appointment.
From start to finish, the entire dental implant process takes about 6-8 months. Most of that time is spent allowing the implant to fuse to the jaw bone while wearing your temporary teeth. Like any surgery, your healing period may be shorter or longer based on individual healing factors.
Our patients are often surprised by how quick and uneventful the procedure actually is. Your pain will very likely be minimal; most patients report pain at a level of 2 on a scale of 1 to 10.
Pain tolerance varies by patient but our care team is here to assist and provide comfort with pain medication if needed. We’ll make sure you’re comfortable from start to finish.
Most people find dental implant surgery very easy to tolerate with minimal soreness for a few days afterwards. Any post-operative discomfort can usually be managed with over-the-counter (OTC) anti-inflammatory medication such as ibuprofen or OTC pain-relievers. If you have had a tooth extracted before, implant placement is usually easier and less painful than the extraction.
A full-arch procedure is a major surgery that should not be taken lightly. With that said, we’ve found that many patients are genuinely surprised by how little pain they experience during and after the procedure, and by how fast they recover.
Using sedation and local anesthesia, our providers ensure that patients are comfortable and pain-free throughout the actual procedure. Though each patient has their own level of discomfort during the recovery process, most patients (depending on their responsibilities) return to work in less than a week from the day of the procedure.
Patients will be advised on what to expect throughout their recovery, and medication and aftercare instructions are provided.
Simply put, this is our focus. We are passionate about restoring patients’ abilities to eat, smile, and enjoy life, and we strive to deliver exceptional results at reasonable prices. Our patients’ photos and results speak for themselves.
Anytime Dental Implant Centers have chosen not to dilute their focus. They concentrate exclusively on implant surgery and full-mouth restoration, applying their considerable talent and training to enhancing our most defining feature.
Most clinics typically have the implant placed in one office, followed by restoration made at a third party lab, and then your final teeth delivered at yet another office. At Anytime Dental Implant Centers, we are dedicated to providing everything under one roof in a streamlined and efficient manner. This provides our patients the absolute best possible service and cost savings.

You will live with the outcome of your smile transformation for the rest of your life, and you truly do get what you pay for. Our patients repeatedly say that they were grateful to choose the highest quality care and a lifetime solution. Their only regret? Not doing it sooner!
After performing thousands of Anytime Dental Implant Centers cases, we’ve perfected a variety of bone grafting techniques which will allow for successful implant placement on the day of extractions.
In very rare cases, patients with severe bone loss—typically due to decades of being without teeth—may require an extra surgery known as sinus augmentation.
These patients can incur additional charges and can sometimes expect an average wait time of four months before the augmented bone is ready to receive implants.
Anytime Dental Implant Centers provides every patient with an all-encompassing 2-year warranty on our teeth and our implants. Available for an extra fee is an industry-leading Lifetime Warranty, which includes annual cleanings. Both warranties cover our patients regardless of health issues, accidental damage, or lifestyle choices; all we require are annual routine cleaning & maintenance visits. The cost of cleanings at any Anytime Dental Implant Centers location are included with the Lifetime Warranty.
Dental implants have around a 95% success rate and the materials we offer are the most durable of their kind.
If anything happens that keeps you from smiling within the period of the warranty you selected, we will take care of it–no exceptions.
The best number of implants to place is entirely dependent on a patient’s anatomy. In general, we’ve found that placing four implants provides the best long-term success.
However, if additional implants are required or necessary for any particular case, they will be placed at no additional charge. Each patient’s unique needs determine a treatment plan, not a certain number of implants. Do not fall for the “additional implants cost more because more is better” marketing tactic.
Though new materials continue to emerge, zirconia has long remained the most sought after material for replacing natural teeth.
Zirconia is a metal-free ceramic and is fully biocompatible with gum tissue. When it comes to durability, zirconia is the strongest dental material available. Each set of teeth is precisely milled and will undergo a sintering process to increase its compressive strength and ensure a resistance to chipping, scratching, and all forms of wear.
Even for those with severe bruxism (excessive teeth grinding), zirconia has proven reliable and withstood the test of time.
Zirconia is also naturally resistant to both staining and plaque/tartar buildup. It is easy to clean and maintain, which means no discoloration and much less risk of common oral conditions like bad breath and gum disease.
Nearly everyone who is missing one or more teeth and is in general good health is a candidate for dental implant treatment. There are a few medical conditions that can undermine the success of implant treatment, such as uncontrolled diabetes. However, there are very few conditions that would keep someone from having implant treatment altogether. As with all medical procedures, we thoroughly evaluate each person and contact their physician should any questions arise.
When you come in for a free consultation, your doctor will learn about your dental and medical history, review your 3-D CT scan, and check your bone density to recommend a treatment plan that’s right for you.
our post-op diet will be determined based on the extent of the surgery and recovery protocol. Your care team will provide instructions before you go home so you can feel better and recover faster!
For the first 24-48 hours post-op, you’ll consume only cool liquids. After that, food can be warm but not boiling hot for 2 weeks, or 4 weeks if you have had sinus surgery. As your jaw heals for the next 6 months or so, you’ll be wearing your temporary bridge of teeth. During this time, you’ll be on a “fork-tender” graduated diet, which can include ground and canned soft meats, pasta, and cooked vegetables. Read more: What foods can you eat after dental implant surgery?
After any dental implant surgery, a minimum of 90-days healing time and a “soft diet” is required. We recommend any foods that are soft enough to cut with the side of a fork.
A soft diet allows for successful osseointegration, which means allowing your new implants to fuse with your bone. After a 90-day follow up, most patients are free to eat whatever they like, just as they would with their natural teeth!
Once your jaw has fully healed and your permanent bridge of teeth is placed, you’ll be able to eat most foods! Steak, corn on the cob, apples, and peanuts will be enjoyable again. You’ll dine with family and friends while eating and smiling confidently.
Every case is different but most patients will return either once or twice a year for a routine checkup and cleaning, which allows us to ensure that everything is up to par.
Your bridges will be removed, polished, and replaced, ensuring that your Anytime Dental Implant Centers hybrid bridges last for decades to come. Patients will pay a small fee for each cleaning, or the cost of cleanings is included in the Lifetime Warranty!
Your new smile will be cared for in a similar fashion as your natural one: practice proper oral hygiene and brush your teeth, gums, cheeks, palate, and tongue just like normal.
The only significant difference is that you will now be using a water flosser to irrigate the space between your bridges and your gums, where food debris can sometimes get trapped. Keeping your implants clean will ensure their success and longevity.
